Battle of Belmont, Missouri

A view looking from the Confederate camp towards US Grant's advancing Federals.
The Gunboat Tyler steams ahead to challenge the range of the "Lady Polk" on the bluffs of Columbus, Kentucky.
A view of the "Lady Polk" and her commanding view of the Mississippi River.
The view looking from Hunters Farm towards the Confederate Camp. Fighting has already moved closer to the camp at this point.
My son enjoys his bouncer as Grant's troops put serious pressure on the Confederates.

  1. This was the first battle (solitaire) fought using my home rules, Kepi&Musket. It was also the last battle for nearly 18 years. This battle was conducted in 1995 and now that my son is nearly 18, it's time to break the boys out again!

    1. Thanks Ben. The figures are lead. They are mostly 15mm Old Glory with some Stone Mountain in the mix as well.

I've always loved the Old Glory figures. They have really well sculpted and natural looking poses.
